The Campground
The BLR Campground is a privately owned lakeside campground, residing on Crown land in the foothills of central Alberta. We do not offer weekend camping, as all campsites are leased on a yearly basis. This provides a campground community of folks who look out for each other, invest in the community & the resort, and look forward to seeing each other throughout the camping season.
Rustic, Off-Grid Camping
The campground is almost entirely off-grid, providing an opportunity to unplug from the world and reconnect with yourself, family & nature. We provide access to beautiful, fresh well water with a pump run by generators. We also have sewage dumping on resort.
Application Only
We currently have a waitlist for those interested in leasing a site. In order to maintain the quality of the campground community here, we ask folks who are interested in a site to complete an application & provide references from existing campers, if applicable.
Small but Mighty
We currently have just under 70 campsites for lease across our campground. Small enough to know your neighbours & recognize a new face, but big enough for some privacy & a sense of your own nook in the campground.
